He resided in the Highlands, yet another Louisville neighborhood, for twenty years before marrying his wife, Amy, and moving to Valley Station. Retired now, writing full-time, he and Amy share a delightful house near the Highlands. Downing has been a firefighter, a construction worker, a tobacconist, a writing teacher, and many other things. Greetings friends! I’ve been focused on writing much of the time, but I wanted to share this interview I did with Brian Levine on PipesMagazine’s 13 November podcast, #322, at about 11:00 minutes into the broadcast.

I hope you enjoy it, but I must clarify that the release of “Undead Client” has been changed to June 2019, rather than the 1 Dec 2018 date as stated in the interview. Mr. Levine has offered to correct this information soon. We didn’t find out about the new release date until middle November. Sorry about the delay.
